mutley 4,497
I have been enjoying flying X-Plane on my iTouch for the past couple of days. It's a very lite version of X-Plane but great fun. The controls work very well using the iTouch accelerometers for the yoke. All the other controls such as throttle, flaps, breaks and landing gear are on the touch screen. No rudder controls but you can't have it all! Here are some screenshots, they were not taken by me as I have not fathomed out how to take them..... yet! I've a lot to learn yet but it's great for a bit of entertainment! grth_bbtt 0
Nice stuff mutters! :great: I think to take a screenshot on an Iphone of anything on the screen you see is to do the following. Hold the lock button down on the top of the I**** Then push the home key as quick as possible (you should see a sort of camera flash of the screen) The picture(s) should now be saved in the pictures folder I think you then export that image to the pc and just upload it in the same way. Where can you get this APP uncle mut?

Martyn 9
Out of interest, how highly would you recommend an Itouch? I'm still using a 5 year old Ipod Mini!
mutley 4,497
Out of interest, how highly would you recommend an Itouch?I'm still using a 5 year old Ipod Mini! Not highly enough Martyn it is fantastic. Obviously there is the music and picture storage, the video is superb, it has built in wifi so you can pick up your mail and surf using safari, watch BBC iPlayer, special channels like YouTube, Google Earth and Maps etc etc if you know someone who has one, have a go, you will  immediately! As you can tell, I am still not bored with it. Cheers

Martyn 9
Thanks for your replies, I'm certainly tempted! I'm even tempted by the iPhone, the 3G functionality looks very good. Unfortunately its a case of justifying the cost
