Leg 46 - Natal (SBNT) - Wideawake (FHAW)

Recommended Posts

Welcome all to my ATWC II Leg!

As I sit in my cockpit (or cab in Rail Simulator), I wonder, ' What will Mutley give us to do next?'

That question can, and will, only be answered by the dog himself

Anyway, Ascension Island. What a volcanic place it is! But who cares, when it's a divert point for the Space Shuttle in the unlikely event of an emergancy

It has a 10019ft runway, and no ILS. But in the Falklands War, it was turned from a sleepy island to the point where the whole RAF tanker fleet were based here in 1982!

Anyway, on to the leg!

The Vulcan doesn't have the range with all this arms on board, so Simi's helping out with a VC-10!

:wow:

Superb Kieran, I am so pleased you chose the Vulcan as that is one of the reasons I chose Ascencion.

I really enjoyed the flight although I felt a little queezy when you dropped out of the sky to meet up with the tanker :stars:

Thanks for getting us safely to Wideawake.

Cheers

Thanks for the comments!
How do you get the AAR in FS??

I own RAF Tornado and C-130 Hercules by Just Flight and in those packages is a tanker that you can call and it passes you fuel

I'm sure i have the RAF Tornado somewhere, if not installed....as for the C-130, which is it? I've got the CS 'Legendary' C-130, does that work?..or is it any tanker, if so i've got loads (Victor K2, Vulcan K2, VC-10, Tristar tanker, KC-135...)
