SlimAir Logistics Update

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

Here's my latest update, I have the following aircraft now:

1x Cessna Skyhawk 172SP

1x Cessna Grand Caravan

2x Learjet 45 (SOLD ONE)

1x Learjet 45 Limited Edition

1x A321 Default White

I decided to go for an Airbus A321 instead of the Boeing 737 as it was cheaper and carried more cargo, it has started bringing some real decent jobs now, before the learjet's would bring in about

Hows your base going Mutley...?

She's on ice at the moment Phil. I am trying to clear a backlog of reviews and videos for the hangar then I hope to get on with it. Sorry I can't join in the fun

Hi Mutley,

No problem, I look forward to having a read of the reviews you are wading through as and when, I got me another couple of addons last week, Just Flight 747-200/300 and Mega Airpot Lisbon...

Been pricing up my next PC too, I reckon

Just out of curiosity, have you registerd an account on the pilot portal at AirHauler.net.

If not, I suggest doing so. A good way to showcase your company, plus you can a nice forum signature that updates your progress from their site.

Details on my operations can be found here.

A quick summary of the company.

Fleet.

1x Airbus A321 (default) (Operated by AI-pilots)

2x Lookheed Constellation C69B (Operated by AI-pilots)

2x Lookheed Constellation C69C (Operated by AI-pilots)

1x Consolidated Catalina PBY-6A (Operated by AI-pilots)

1x Shorts S330 (flown by myself at the moment, but it's not really cost efficient with the fuel burn it has)

Bases

Stockholm Arlanda (ESSA), Cambray Epinoy AFB in northern France(LFQI), Wiesbaden AFB close to Frankfurt (ETOU), Woensdrecht AFB in the south of Holland (EHWO), Luxemburg airport (ELLX) (not visible on the Airhauler.net site because I forgot to update my stats last night) and Tabarka Airport in northern Tunisia (DTKA).

My future plans are to relocate the bases at LFQI, ETOU and EHWO to Charles de Gaulle, Frankfurt and Schiphol, and to replace all Constellation and the Catalina with A321s and/or A400Ms. The S330 will most likely be left in the game for a while since I don't have the time to fly enough to finance an A400m for myself.

Hi Stu,

Yes I am registered, just look up the company name SlimAir Logistics and you will find me, I am trying to build my own website for SlimAir Logistics at the moment which will include a Blog, might get something online by this weekend if I get enough time.

My Fleet is ever expanding, I now have on lease 6x Airbus A321's which are in constant demand, 3x Learjet's and I fully own a Cessna C172 & 208 Caravan along will a Bell 208 Helicopter (which is for the management), as I don't really need many more planes at the moment I may concentrate on buying up the fleet of leased aircraft to lower my operating costs as the Learjet's I can pay off one a day at the moment, so could own these out right by the weekend.

I have 12 bases now, I have tended to go for all the commercial well known bases and spread them out a little.

I have sorted decided to make a little more of AirHauler than is required by starting off in the UK with Prop Aircraft as Phase One of SlimAir Logistics and then moving into Europe with the Airbus fleet which is Phase Two and the current Phase. I still have a few more bases and Aircraft to purchase on this phase. For the final Phase Three I intend to move out into the global market, hopefully added Boeing's 747 & Airbus 380's to my fleet. Also in regards to the AI Pilots I employ lower rank pilots but with 100%, they start off in the Cessna's then move up to the Learjet's and then onto the A321's, the intention then will be to move the senior pilots across to the Boeing's and A380's as and when I finally deploy them.

Wow Phil,

It's great to see you have set targets and planned your growth, I will certainly look in on your blog :thanks:

Its going well so far, although the plan does change...

Got 12 aircraft now, 10 pilots and15 bases, got down as far as Turkey and Greece now...

Really need to finish off the website and buy a domain, got another site up at the moment which can be removed. Need to email them about it...

Hi Guys,

I am proud to announce the launch of SlimAir Logistic's new company website

http://web.me.com/slimnasty/SlimAir_Logistics/Welcome.html

It currently is setup on a mobile me Mac account to test it out for 60 days, let me know what you all think, has taken me about a week to put together with all the screenshots. I have also linked back to Mutley's Hanger and the main Air Hauler website. It would be great if you like it enough to have links posted back to me from these sites, might encourage others to take the game that little bit further.

Check out the blog which is up to date and took the longest to put together along with all the screenshots.

I look forward to hearing what you all think....
