As usual the announcers never let lack of knowledge deter them from offering shallow and inaccurate opinions. Sometimes it's best to just turn the sound down. The wing flexing did look extreme, but not sure that indicates a problem. I understand it's supposed to be a five-hour flight. John Link to post Share on other sites

mutley 4,498 Posted December 15, 2009 Report Share Posted December 15, 2009 Wow, just watched the landing and that is pretty extreme wing flex, I guess it must be a property of those new composite materials. She did look very nice, I like the exterior design. Airbus are now promoting its A350 as a competitor to the 787, it will also be made primarily from carbon-composite materials.
