CaptHill 0
I could use some help with the PIC 737. I land manually after establishing an autoland on the LOC and GS. My problem is I arm the speed brakes however after touchdown the spoilers dont raise. Am i doing something in the wrong order or does it have to be a completely automated landing for them not to have to be raised manually? Thanks for any help
hurricanemk1c 195
Do you set the ground-spoilers ready for landing (Shift+/ in my caase)?
CaptHill 0
yes i do...however i do that whilst the autopilot is still on and then turn it off at about 1000ft and fly in maually....but the spoilers dont come up

wisemanp 0
I'm not sure...maybe you have to have an autobrake setting selected?
hurricanemk1c 195
I did a complete ILS 28 landing at Dublin, and had no problems. I usually do get the ILS, let it guide me in, set speedbrakes, then land manually. I haven't had any problems. Sorry I can't help - have you posted this in the JF Forum?
