Aircraft not appearing in Aircraft menu

Hi all,

I recently downloaded Project Airbus' new A320 series. I have merged them with Wilco panels and FDEs, and I have given them new sounds from Avsim.

However the CFM-engined variants aren't showing up in FS

I have copied the relevant sections of the aircraft.cfg file below:

They aren't showing up in the menu at all - not even the untextured models!

That's because the texture entries are MON.OLD and MON.NEW . You have to rename them to MON

Dave, the UI manufacturer varies frmm "Airbus" to "Project Airbus" are you looking for the correct manufacturer when selecting the aircraft?

As panos said the MON textures will not work because the texture names are wrong.

Final thing, I'm not sure why you have quotation marks around everything I don't think they are needed and maybe the sim is not liking it?

Hi both,

Will the textures work if the texture.mon folder contains both "Old" and "New"? It came packaged like that (including the funny texture= bit) so I assume it works.

Again, the quote marks came with it, I think it's odd too but didn't want to change them just in case! In my experience FS has been indifferent to quotation marks anyway. Tried removing them but still no use :-(

RAS over on JF has pointed out a discrepancy with the airfile names, mabye that is causing it.

*fires up FS to check*

They are showing up now guys, except for the Monarch with the funny texture line. Thanks :-)

Good news they are showing Dave.

I am sure you know how to set the texture= line in the cfg so just make sure the name is the same as the filer name after the 'texture.' bit.
