Shooting Star

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

Thought I would share this one with you all and see if anyone else has experienced this at all.

Picture this the flight was from Rome to CDG Paris, at the start it was a nice red sky and everything was going smoothly.

About half way I was half watching the screen while chatting to a fellow Air Hauler when No Word of a Lie THREE SHOOTING STARS shot accross in front of my 747-400 into the distance.

Now I have been flying over a year now and have NEVER seen that before, has anyone else?

Now I would have to ask the question is this FSX or REX or something else I am running?

I would love to know that it is not JUST ME

That's a new one on me Phil but I would love to see it, did you log the date and time? As sometimes these things are not random and it may happen again.

Has anyone else witnessed any strange phenomenon in FS?

Cheers

Hi Mutley,

Unfortunately I didn't log the time, didn't even think of it, but it would have been a little bit before this, but then I would also imagine I would need to know where I was too, hang on though, won't I have a record of the flight somewhere in Air Hauler?

I posted this up on Just Flight forum also and one guy has come back and said he had the same thing, but 2 shooting stars, maybe my eyes deceived me but it goes to show it must happen...

Maybe it is part of the REAL TIME weather downloads :winka:

Things like this do happen in FSX! A nice little series of touches provided by the ACES Team.

There are Fireworks on Independance Day, Dolphins Jumping around the seas in some areas, shooting starts (like you mentioned)...

I also remember that near KSEA Seattle on FS2004, there was a giant Chicken to the North of the default runway!
