stu7708 244
Hi everybody. As promised in another thread heres a few screenshots from my new computer. This has taken some time to get sorted, since computer time has been severly hampered in favour of changing diapers and catching up on some much needed sleep  But, after almost a fourthnight, I have finally managed to get FSX and all add-ons installed. Decided to start up a brand new AirHauler company, so the shots are from the frist couple of deliveries in and out of my home base on Alderney. Climbing out at dusk, heading due south to mainland France. And as usual I forgot to turn on the landing lights before take off Continuing due south, passing in between Jersey and Gurnsey. If my mapreading is up to scratch Jersey is visible in the background, and the smaller landmas in the foreground should be Sark. Not sure if this is still Sark, or if it's Gurnsey, but the sunset was pretty Closeup of my ride for the day.. not to shabby for a default FSX plane..... Still over the channel, and the clouds are starting to gang up on me... but it was really a matter of prespective.. And somewhere around here FSX decided to crash on me!! Gladly that's the only time it's happened so far, so I write that of to a freak error somewhere... Just one shot from the next flight.. heading out with a plane full of sheep to Exeter. And coming back later on that day, taxiing to parking under the watchful eyes of the tower. And the next load of cargo passing over the church on Alderney heading for the right downwind leg on my approach. This is a stunning scenery they put together.. and barely a hit on the FPS either, unlike other scenery add-ons I have... Wonder if they could consider doing some parts of sweden once their done with gurnsey, jersey and Isle of Man :bday: Turning on to finals in a slightly pear shaped turn.... And to finish this flight and post, a study of a crosswind landing. A crosswind component of 9,5 knots according to AH... but I got a greaser out of it, so I can't really complain... Hope you enjoyed these.. now it's back to caring for little Kasper. I'll try to catch up on the forum reading soon...
