mutley 4,495
Well, between me and Fred we took over 1000 photo's Mine weren't so good as I only have a compact camera and a lot of the photo's (Mostly of the Red Arrows were totally the incorrect exposure. The show was great, as was the flying, a lot of USAF virtually no RAF I guess they are all overseas? But here's a couple to get you going. I think Fred managed to get some great shots but he's working tomorrow so not sure when we will get some of his. I've plenty more  B1, what a fantastic noise that thing makes, it kept doing flypasts every 10 minutes or so between other displays. The Thunderbirds put on a brilliant show. F117 a weird looking beast! F15E Strike Eagle landing just after a joint display with the Mustang And here is the Mustang! Like I said there's plenty more where that came from, Hope you enjoyed. All shots are copyright Joe Lawford (Mutley) :!:
allardjd 1,853
WOW! Great fun, eh? Yes, the B1 can rattle the windows, but for just sheer noise level, sustained, I don't think you can beat a Harrier in hover. The Thunderbirds and the Blue Angels, and I'm sure the Red Arrows and other national military teams just make it look so easy that I think some people don't really appreciate the difficulty. Great looking Mustang. I love 'em. (It's an 8-hour Spitfire.) Thanks for the quick post. John
ddavid 149
Great shots, Joe - lucky b*gger! Hope to see some more from Fred when I get back from Paris (by train, so no pics for the Hangar, unless you make a new category: 'Nothing to do with FSim or aircraft!') Cheers - Dai.
simi_av8r 0
I agree, some fantastic shots there Joe, i especially like the few you've got of the 4-ship Thunderbird formations... still, nothin' quite like a bit o' the old Red Arrows!! .....when I get back from Paris (by train, so no pics for the Hangar, unless you make a new category: 'Nothing tod do with FSim or aircraft')Cheers - Dai. I thought the 'General' forum existed for that stuff, then again i guess Trains, Planes and Automobiles do require their own categorising....
dgor 0
Great pics Mut - the Thunderbirds look impressive! Look forward to seeing more of the same  Hope you both had a good time. Dave
mulletman 0
Fantastic Mutley! It was a pleasurre meeting you (again) there. And after the sun came out it turned into a really good day. I'll PM you in a second. Those shots are really great, considering the camera. Some of my early shots are not too good, but the latter of my 644 shots look good. I will try to get some of them up later today, and all of them at some point in the future. (by which i mean the best ones, not all 644!)
mutley 4,495
You too Fred, I got the PM and replied. Sorry to miss you Sam, I got a place in the front and didn't want to lose it. I did try to call you early on but the network was so busy I gave up. Sure we'll meet next year.
