wisemanp 0
... no, not the World Cup. The Tour De France cycle race is under way and full of drama already. Plenty of people are up to challenge last year's dominant winner Alberto Contador, including the final TdF for ex-champ Lance Armstrong (While the drugs debate about Lance still rages...) And as of this Saturday, should you be watching the live coverage on British Eurosport, you might catch a glimpse of Wisemanp on the side of the road! Family Wiseman are following the Tour from the Alps all the way to Paris. Just look for England, UK and Manx flags along with me sporting my 'Allez Les Rosbifs' t-shirt! allardjd 1,853
I understand there's to be a special prize this year for the most cleverly disguised electric motor and battery pack within a bicycle frame. John
ddavid 149
C'mon Phil - Le Tour is the only sporting event of the year! Although all the great riders have retired - the list starts with Anquetil and ends with Zulle - I still follow the tour via the web. Even makes me go out on the bike - which is no mean feat as we live at the bottom of a 300 foot hill.... Enjoy yourself in Paris, you lucky s*d! Cheers - Dai. P.S. Do post some photo's - that'd be great.
