rosariomanzo 545
ATWC is so famous all around the world! So ALL my family asked me to take part to this leg. We, in southern Italy, are so prolific, so I estimated about 176 people. The problem is: where should I accomodate all these people? ...mumble mumble... EUREKA! I will run to the nearest rent-a-boeing shop and take a suitable aircraft, using Joe's credit card, of course! Ah, and as I feel a bit nostalgic, I asked for an Alitalia 767, coming directly from Rome (thanks Joe!) Ladies and gentleman, now boarding (and don't forget the baton)! While all passengers are eating some pizza and baba cake, I am performing the preflight operations: We are cleared to push and start, and here we go with n. 2: Everything is properly set, clear to the left...: ...and clear to the right, let's go! I've double checked the baton, there is some noise coming from the cabin. "Ladies and gentleman, this is the captain speaking, please stop eating and screaming. I wish you a pleasant flight." We need some extra power due to the high airport altitude, but thanks to the powerful bird provided by Joe's credit card (and fuel, too) our takeoff is successful: Two shots from the cabin... And one from my pocket  Cruising, seat belts sign is off, passengers can start eating and screaming again: "Ladies and gentleman, this is the captain speaking. We have started our descent to destination. Please leave the cabin clean and remove all pizzas and baba cakes from the floor and the windows. Thank you!" Flaps 20, gear down please: Cleared to land, FD and autopilot off, speed check, full flaps: And down to earth: "Ladies and gentleman, this is the captain speaking. Welcome to Galapagos. Please check your hand luggage before leaving the airplane. We hope to see you again soon. Ah, erm... please say thank you to Joe and his credit card!" Thanks for watching! :hi:

Aidan 1
Great Leg! I have to say, I dislike the CS 767 very much, IMHO its very unaccurate and a port over from the 757.

stu7708 244
That was one good looking plane, and some stunning shots. Loved the wing view on approach (3rd from the bottom). And as Rob said, the from my pocket shot was interesting. Good job getting us to Galapagos.
