mutley 4,498
Definitely no version for Apple. Isn't there a Windows emulator for Apple? This is probably better asked on an Apple friendly forum as I have no way of trying this out Cheers, Joe

SEATAC 400
Hello All One of my mates at work has just bought an apple imac and is interested in flt sim. Does FS2004 of FSX work on apple computers or is there a version just for Apple?? My brother is a Mac man and he says there is an emulator, but it's not too good for CPU and graphic intensive apps like FS. He's better off getting a PC for gaming.

allardjd 1,853
There's an old IT saying that any computer can emulate any other computer as long as time and money are no object. I'm pretty sure there are Windows emulators for the Mac. John
needles 1,013
X-Plane per chance Dai? Kieran, You gave the game away, shame on you:knucklehead: Anyway, isn't X-***** :th_smiles73: Not my words or thoughts. If you quote me I will deny all knowledge of this and er, go into hiding. FSX rules ok! or FS9 for those who really care:th_smiles73: :icon_thumbup: Ta ta for now.

Tim_A 997
Mac Boot Camp lets you install Windows and run any Windows prog (including FS), with the same performance as if it was a Windows PC (ie it is not an emulator) Boot Camp is built in to the Mac, you just need a copy of Windows to install (XP or Win7). The Mac then becomes dual-boot and you either start MacOS or Windows.
ddavid 149
Let's face it, Apple went over to Intel, a few years ago after dropping the Motorola chip set, so, a Mac is just a PC in disguise, as it were... Cheers - Dai. P.S. RIP the 68000...
