Flt Sim and Apple

Recommended Posts

Hello All

One of my mates at work has just bought an apple imac and is interested in flt sim. Does FS2004 of FSX work on apple computers or is there a version just for Apple??

My brother is a Mac man and he says there is an emulator, but it's not too good for CPU and graphic intensive apps like FS.

He's better off getting a PC for gaming.

X-Plane per chance Dai?

Kieran, You gave the game away, shame on you:knucklehead:

Anyway, isn't X-***** :icon_spamm: :th_smiles73:

Not my words or thoughts. If you quote me I will deny all knowledge of this and er, go into hiding. FSX rules ok!

or FS9 for those who really care:th_smiles73: :icon_thumbup:

Ta ta for now.

Mac Boot Camp lets you install Windows and run any Windows prog (including FS), with the same performance as if it was a Windows PC (ie it is not an emulator)

Boot Camp is built in to the Mac, you just need a copy of Windows to install (XP or Win7). The Mac then becomes dual-boot and you either start MacOS or Windows.

Let's face it, Apple went over to Intel, a few years ago after dropping the Motorola chip set, so, a Mac is just a PC in disguise, as it were...

Cheers - Dai.

P.S. RIP the 68000... :cray:

68000? I preferred the 6502 and 65C816. (I've still got one) :001_th_smiles89:
