mutley 4,495
Has anyone watched this yet? I love this dig at Ryanair! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qabWeLoYOa0 Brilliant.
needles 1,013
We've watched it so far Joe and as ever, the guys have come up trumps with their new characters. I think it's going to be a great series as were David Walliams and Matt Lucas' previous series. Wifey and me are in tune with their sense of humour. I'm a lady, don't you know :th_smiles73: Great vid' Cheers Brian
Aidan 1
Is that real? Im guessing not, because that just seems stupid.
rob16584 42
Yes I'm loving it so far. I don't normally like Walliams and Lucas but decided to watch it when they said it wasn't like Little Britain. You can tell that a few of the characters have got their inspiration from the old program about Heathrow that was on BBC1 - was it called Airport?
mutley 4,495
Is that real? Im guessing not, because that just seems stupid. It's a new British comedy program Aidan. The character above is a rip off of Stelios Haji-Ioannou the founder of EasyJet. It is a spoof of the Ryanair/Easyjet low cost airline business portrayed like a documentary. There are more clips in the YouTube link Cheers
ddavid 149
May I say, at this jucture, that I am not related to any of the characters... Oh dear - I've just seen the first 10 minutes of episode 1 on BBC iPlayer... Cheers - Dai.
mutley 4,495
I think it is one of those comedy programs you like or hate. If you look through the obvious Walliams and Lucas characterisations (Unless you like them) then the storylines are quite funny.
Aircraft Aviation 2
Yes. Absolutely hilarious. I especially enjoy the customs officer. He is just so ignorant (unintentionally) and is completely useless at his job, but tries to look professional. And come on, who can't see the Ryanair references?!?!?! :001_th_smiles89:
mike H 456
It's just Great :icon_thumbup: and as I have flown with both EasyJet and Ryanair :th_smiles73: I think I have met some of these people over the past few years.

needles 1,013
I can't wait to see an episode where the cheesy music starts and they come round with the scratchcards. Ah! Good old Ryanair.
rob16584 42
Jet 2 were doing that on our honeymoon flight. Sorry, but I think I will just spend 30p in the shops for a bag of crisps rather than spend £1 on a scratchcard in the hope of winning one!
