allardjd 1,853
Just got JF Military Plus Pak 1 and couldn't resist seeing if I could get the Follow Me truck into a C-130. Results are predictable, I guess. John
allardjd 1,853
That was my first posted image. Why am I getting the "Click here to enlarge" business? John

JoeEllwood 0
I don't think Uncle Sam's boys would be too impressed if they caught you doing that - LOL! Not familiar with the provider you're using, but there's two options. There may be something that says "URL - http://www.xxx/xx.jpg" You can either post the link and put this at the front: [URL] and this at the end of the link: [/URL] Alternatively, there may be a direct IMG link that may say "Image Link - [URL]www.xxx.com/xx.jpg[/URL] I just use Photobucket, upload the pictures, and copy and paste the IMG link. mutley 4,497
I like that shot John well done. As Joe quite rightly said you need the code which is in the "Direct link to image" section of the page and enter the code inside the image tags mentioned above. You will soon get used to it and post more great shots no doubt. Cheers
mutley 4,497
Hi All! I've only just realised that when you make a post on this forum there is a link below this text box that is labelled "Add image to post" this actually uploads your image to a free image server "postimage.org" and it that automatically adds the html code into the post and produces the clickable thumbnail that John has on his post. John may not know what we are on about as this was done for him. So John, either keep posting this way it's fine with me or when the code is entered into your post edit it so it only reads:- [img=http://upload7.postimage.org/76359/photo_hosting.html] for example for your last post or do what we do, get a free on-line photo album from http://www.photobucket.com so you have more control over your pictures. If you are unsure what I'm on about just post here and we will help you out  Regards,
allardjd 1,853
Thanks, gents. I think I understand and will give it a try later in the Real World Aviation forum. I went non-virtual airport bumming today with a non-virtual camera and have photos of actor John Travolta's Qantas 707 (N707JT) on the ramp at the local airport, as well as a derelict MIG 17 and some wrecks lying around the local tin shop. Have a honey-do list to take care of first, however. Will post later today if I can negotiate the URL codes and such. John
