hurricanemk1c 195
Hi all! After receiving Iron Maiden's 'Somewhere Back In Time - the Best of 1980-1989' CD and Flight 666 DVD, I thought I'd better roll out G-OJIB aka Ed Force One! Due to time restrictions, only a short hop between Dublin and Heathrow was planned, making use of both freeware and payware scenery. Here is Ed Force One on the ramp, sitting next to an Aer Lingus '330 and Ryanair 737-800 The FMS showing my flight number! Pushback is about to commence The 'DUBLIN' is now in green (not that you really need to know!) Lots of aircraft behind Ready to taxi Saying goodbye to the pushback Showing off the artwork on the tail Crossing RWY 34 Another Shamrock A330 taking off In the queue Waiting for a Ryanair 737 Next to take-off Bruce's shot Waiting GO! Rotate Gear up Climbing out of Dublin A turn to 340 Airport is behind Wing views Climbing A loooong spotters shot Dublin city, showing the River Liffey and various key buildings Poolbeg Towers, a noticeable feature from both sea, air and road - a visual identifer you are on a 28 landing Another wing view Over the Irish Sea 2-D view Starting to trail, now settled into the cruise Wales ahead! From in front Eddie is on the tail A jump seat view Another aircraft Overview from the captain's side window Yet another aircraft, heading for the States, maybe coming over my house! Descending over England, going in to a 09L landing 'Diving' is a more approriate description! Autobrakes are on, before I forget! Down at 2500ft Vectors Underside, from a spotter! Gear down, flaps down TV Screens The T5 rounderbout A smooth touchdown I didn't have time for a go-around, so I put her down and slammed on the brakes Taxing in An Air Canada A BA 747 taking off Turning Oooh - an Egypt Air Looks like I'm going in next to a load of statics Nice and steady Parked Cold and dark Thanks for flying Iron Maiden, I hope you all enjoyed your flight. IM666 will be flying again shortly, and we hope to see you again soon! (Sorry if I've bored you all!)

MarkJones 0
Funny enough a while ago Easyjet leased a couple of 757's from Astraeus and the first one into Liverpool JL was flown by the man himself! :icon_thumbup:
hurricanemk1c 195
Now you mention it Mark, one of the Easyjet 757's WAS G-OJIB, so maybe he was flying 'his' plane!
