CaptHill 0
Having recently purchased FTX Aus, thought I'd make a post of just the one shot. Very impressive stuff from these guys! The quality of their airfields is fantastic. Anyone spot my means of transport? Rich
hurricanemk1c 195
You drove the police car! Great shot, nicely done
mutley 4,498
This scenery will keep you entertained for months! Nice shot.
Tim_A 997
This scenery will keep you entertained for months! No. Years.... (in 18 months I've managed to see about 1/4 of Australia, and I'm making a concerted effort to touch wheels at every airport!)
CaptHill 0
I know, the area and quality of coverage is so vast. These guys have a great system with their coverage areas and then the airports within them and then the local freeware nearby. It really allows you to build up Australia as a whole. Which airports should I go for first tho?? Rich
Tim_A 997
Depends massively on what you want to fly, and whether you want to explore an area or jump about... If it's bigjets, then Brisbane, Canberra and Melbourne are your boys. For light GA, Aeropelican, Warnervale, Cessnock, Coffs Harbour form a nice little cluster between Sydney and Brisbane. Don't forget the freeware downloads, and the OZx strips. You'll find some real gems among them.
jankees 917
Bigjets, big airports, but for GA, I'd advise Hervey Bay and Bundaberg. Wonderful detail, and just a short hop apart.

I have download the OZ strips and the freewares (which are mind blowing for freeware!) but how do I find a list of all the OZ strips that have been added? I'm into my heavies but might build up my GA in AUS too. Think I'll try buy a group of airports that are good for heavy hops first?! Thanks Rich
Tim_A 997
Well, there are lists and maps included in the documentation, and if you have Plan-G, they are all included in that too.
