mutley 4,498
Great idea and nice edit GF, however I think the tanker would be a whole lot bigger, or the fighters smaller? Cheers, Joe
TapA321 0
Very nice edit, GF. Nice use of distance, especially with the aircraft in the foreground. Have to agree with Joe about the size of the tanker though. Unless it's a way left of the refuelling plane, it looks a little on the small side. Really nice job, though. Just look at the angle on those 787 wings! :icon_thumbup: Cheers, George
simi_av8r 0
agree with both the above, a nice edit but some scale issues with the tanker and re-fuelling fighter... oh, and is that an ex-Air NZ 787 that the US are leasing/have bought?.....intriguing.
hurricanemk1c 195
Didn't notice the NZ tail - maybe they've changed to the 787 for the KC-X? Overall, nicely done. Same as above!
Gunfighter 0
Well, you are all correct in your view,As soon as I put it up I could see the Scaling was out.yep it is Stefans NZ aircraft and for some reason I could not alter the logo on the tail.I am glad you all liked the shot overall I like your feedback as it tells me where I've gone wrong or right Thanks. Will try harder next time LOL
Gunfighter 0
USA. Air Refuel Wing OK guys second shot Scaling done and I put on a new tail
mutley 4,498
Now that is much more believable! Nice work GF Joe
simi_av8r 0
GF, i can really, honestly, say that the re-work is much more believable...good sense of scale, good choice of background, overall very nice composite Did you work on the shadow's or highlights at all, or any other lighting adjustments to the picture? I ask, as the only tiny niggle I have (as a fellow composite artist - see one of my pics here) is the 787 seems to be lit from the side facing us, and the fighter in the foreground looks to bit lit from above/behind the tail... but as i said above, its a really nice composite overall, and really well put together - great work! Hi, no I did not work on any of the light or shadows I just left Stefans 787 as it was in his My Drawings slot. Shadows can be a pain sometime I do try and avoid them or slightly tweek them. I liked your WW2 shot did you check out my Old WW2 pics in ART & Edits.
TapA321 0
Much much better, GF! Looking at that now, it would look really nice if there was another jet in the middle of those two, but inbetween the two sizes.. as though they are all in a line. Good work with the tail too. Cheers, George
