Sabre 28
I currently have the Saitek X52 Pro Joystick and just wondered whether Rudder Pedals would be a worthwhile investment in the future? If so which are recommended or would I need to stick with Saitek (I think they're available for my set-up)
mutley 4,498
Hi Sabre, Generally the rudder pedals will use their own USB port and will automatically configure when plugged in so you can mix and match. I Use CH Pedals a lot of people use the Saitek equivelent. You can use pedals with your X52, you just turn the twist grip off and assign it to the pedals. Cheers
ddavid 149
No question about pedals - go for it. Without them you can't fly rotor-craft or practice cross-wind landings, amongst other techniques! Cheers - Dai.
stu7708 244
I agree with Dai on this one. I used a joystick with twist grip for a few years, but got me a set of pedals around christmas. It has added heaps to the flying experience. And for rotorcrafts there's really no option.. my wrist would ache for hours after trying to master them with just the joystick...
