reef 3
Hey guys. Had some spare time this morning so decided on a medium range flight while i waited for DGOR to get his post up. The flight was to be a Martinair 767-300 flying from Schiphol to Nice. As Martinair do not fly this route i decided i liked the plane and the USA was a bit far for a morning jaunt so a dutch Football team needed a flight and the 767 was avaliable [:mrhappy:] The flight.... Luggage going on at Gate E20. The rather large air bridges can service 747's so reaching my doors is a snip. Almost ready to go as i recieve flight clearance to Nice. Always seems to be plenty of NWA around at schiphol. Begining my taxi to 24. One thing i love about schiphol is the multiple active runways. Whadoyaknow, NWA in front. Oh look another NWA flight just like the one in front of me. Finally getting away, need to hurry, another flight coming in. Probably NWA. Climbing to FL90 as were handed off. The North sea in view. Turning back on ourselves, going to France not England. One final turn and were now on course, Belgium next. Briefly over Germany and now Switzerland at FL190. And now Italy. Finally France and the Med. Vectors for our Nice approach given and approach well underway in this shot. Gear down and full flaps as we approach at 150kts. One final turn as we line up 4L. Quite hazy low and slow over Nice. Two reds Two whites.. I believe a fokker (anyone?) holds short as we reach the threshold. Gently does it as the right wheel touches first. Rapidly reducing speed as we end our flight in Nice. Sorry for the amount of shots, got a bit carried away on this one. Comments good and bad welcome. Thanks for looking and i think its time i got clearance from rio (ATWC) steve
mutley 4,495
Hi Steve, A "nice" flight that one :mrhappy: I like some of the new effects your are using for the sea. Again Steve these are difficult to criticise so I won't, I enjoyed them too much! Cheers
allardjd 1,853
When I can do shots like that maybe I'll consider offering advice to others. Until then, nice shots, Steve. John
