Dusk flight over Isle of Skye

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys

Thought I would share some shots from an early evening flight over the Misty Isle.

I took off from a small airstrip near Broadford on Skye and made my way to the Cuillin Mountain Range.

As the sun was slowly setting I flew between the main Isle of Skye and its Easterly neighbouring island of Raasay.

I have climbed on the Isle of Skye many times in the past and taking a flight over some of my old haunts brings back some sad memories as well as extremely good ones.

Turning Northwesterly now and heading inland towards the Cuillins.

With my new hardware I am getting above average FPS now and no jerky scenery either.

Heading back to Broadford airstrip now, before the sun turns my dusk flight into a night flight.

Safely down at Broadford and another enjoyable evening flight with my new setup.

Hope you liked the pics and thanks for looking.

regards

Brian

Beautiful shots, reminded me of our holiday up in that area last year, remember looking over at the Cullin Mountains from a little place called Elgol which has the best fish restaurant I've ever visited.

Nice flight and lovely scenery.

PS How do you display FPS, is this another app?

Hi Sabre,

You are correct, Elgol is quite a magical place to view the Cuillins. You can also take a boat ride from there to venture deep into the heart of the Range.

Not been in the fish restaurant as wifey gets ill eating fish.

Looks like Kieran has already told you how to display Alt, FPS etc.

Cheers
