Hi Max.

There is no blank-scheme with the Kodiak.!

But if you look at the paint kit there is an blank (alpha) in the photoshop file :) .

Hi Graham,

so i found it. But one of the worst repaint-kits i saw. Too much work with fuselage-structures and to remove colors and so on. Do not think that i´ll make a repaint of this aircraft, sorry for that.

cheers, max.

..only if i have a lot of time..´ll create one - from existing real-one !. :001_th_smiles89:

Sorry it took some time Graham, I've uploaded the modified fuselage paint kit (zip)file with one of my schemes into the download centre. Disable whatever layers you don't need. It is for the FSX version, but as I've uninstalled FSX atm I can't do much testing on the prop I'm afraid.

Will upload matching wings tomorrow.

Hope this helps.

No problem Charlie.

I’ll download it and have a look later on when I fire up my gaming PC .

EDIT: Got it, and it looks like it's going to be very usefull :001_th_smiles89:

Just uploaded the complete metal repaint into the download centre, hopefully should work but had to do a lot from memory. If you do try it and it doesn't work, PM me with the issue. Should be available soon.

Enjoy!

No problem, been working on FS9 repaints using the same kit, they need to be resized to 1024 x 1024, but I still couldn't get rid of the shine. The alpha does make a difference, black gives a mirror finish, but white is the standard and is still quite glossy. Followed Jan's advice and couldn't find anything that will make a difference.

Will keep looking into it.

Just an update to show the progress I'm making with the Kodiak.

Here she is, still have to touch up a couple of spots here and there but, I'm more or less happy with this paint job at the moment :) .

Added the photo below to show you the A2A shockwave lights that I got the other day.

I found a link that explained how to add and what lights go on the Kodiak, and this is what it looks like when they have been installed, pretty darn good IMO :).

Also bought a new sound set to use with this plane Pratt&Whitney PT6A-114 it's meant to be used with the Carenado Grand Caravan 208 really, but it works fine with the Kodiak and also the stock 208, which is just as well! because I was never very happy about the Kodiak pinching the sound set from the stock 208 :icon_thumbup:
