stu7708 244
I woke up this morning and looked out the window to see white grass (no, not snow yet. Just frost). So right now the timing of our conference trip with work to Barcelona is spot on Leaving tomorrow afternoon, and coming home late sunday night.. and the best part is that FC Barcelona plays at home on saturday night, so we're hoping Camp Nou isn't sold out already... stu7708 244
Back home in cold sweden again, but we had a blast with great weather the whole time. 25 - 27 degrees during the day, and seldom below 20 at night. We flew with a Spanair A320 both ways, and I was a bit surprised by fact that I had plenty of room for my long legs. But from what I gather it was far worse behind row 11. And while the flights were more or less on time the service on the flight down was far from quick. I was seated in row 10 (with row 1-5 being business class). The started serving drinks and snacks (on row 6) when we passed over Hannover, and by the time I got my sandwich and beer we had passed all of germany, through switzerland and was well in to eastern France! Just a few shots for you guys to look at too. No airplanes though.. The view from my hotel room A statue in the center of Placa Espanya La Sagrada Familia Hold on, that's not the right image This is what it looks like The view from Parc Güell More from Parc Güell The view we had during lunch on friday Me waiting for the tour bus to pick us up again Saturday noon, and the wind and waves had picked up a bit.. good thing I wasn't looking forward to taking a swim in the Med.. And at 7.30 PM I took a seat with this view and just over two hours later I had seen Barca hammer Racing Santander with 3-0 from Row 13. Two goals in the net right in front of us, and one in the goal on the other side.. This freekick was a complete fail though And if I get this to work, here's a video of how it sound when Barca enters the field at Camp Nou http://img829.imageshack.us/img829/475/4joo.mp4

I would love to go to Barcelona one day to see the architecture. Thanks for posting I'm pleased the weather was good and you enjoyed yourself. Cheers, Joe
stu7708 244
The conference was just fine too, but I figured images of Camp Nou was more interesting than a bunch of doctors and nurses falling asleep while I gave my report on the financial state of the company But it was a great city to visit and I hope to return one day in order to see more than we had time for on this trip. For example I managed to miss most of the old town only walking up and down La Rambla trying to find somewhere to get lunch that wasn't full already.
