hurricanemk1c 195
About 79 gallons, FSX style (couldn't find the conversion ratio online, so it's 532.43 / 6.7 = 79.467164179104477611940298507463 gallons)
ddavid 149
Thanks, Chuck - beats me how you get it so accurate without a slide-rule... Looks like I'll fly Leg 3 for Team-Mutley, can you do Leg 4, please? I'll try squeezing a few arms, but I'm not sure that will work. Maybe I'll have to get The Boys in to help with recruitment! Cheers - Dai.

allardjd 1,853
...beats me how you get it so accurate without a slide-rule... Now that's funny... Maybe I'll have to get The Boys in to help with recruitment! Not sure who that would be there, but here it implies "Uncle Guido", wearing a black shirt, yellow tie and carrying a violin case... hurricanemk1c 195
No probs Dai - is it OK to fly these on VATSIM?
ddavid 149
As long as you fly the DC-3 and record Flight Time & Fuel, VATSIM sounds good. Cheers - Dai.

ddavid 149
Leg 6 is pretty straightforward - VOR to VOR with an ILS for landing at Zurich. Just the Alps to get over! Cheers - Dai.

hurricanemk1c 195
Hi fellas! Done flight 6 tonight, time taken 133.55 (bit off!) and fuel used 3040.66lbs / 506 gallons - is that right?
ddavid 149
Thanks, Kieran - Flight Time's about right (mine was 133 minutes) but Fuel looks extremely high - my Fuel used was 149 gallons! Best check and confirm... Cheers - Dai.
hurricanemk1c 195
I was thinking that - I'll have a look - I had 583.34lbs left in my tanks at the end EDIT - took the wrong starting figure - only 2083.8lbs of fuel was loaded, not the 3624lbs I was working on. That that means I burned 1500.46lbs, which equates to 214 gallons - still way off your 149 - where am I going wrong?
