Andrew Godden 945
I had to travel all the way to Portsmouth to find this one. It was such a long drive in the car too. In the end, it was the Blackburn Cirrus Major engines which gave it away. Cheers Andrew

Andrew Godden 945
Alan, This one has been bugging the hell out of me. I know it, I have seen it, but the name eludes me and now I can't find it in my reference material. Anyway, back to the researching. Cheers Andrew
allardjd 1,853
It appears to be a modified Piper Tri-Pacer. John
Andrew Godden 945
That's what I initially thought John, but the vertical bracing on the struts is not consistent with the PA-22. This is the key to identifying it. Just when I think I am close, the landing gear configuration throws a spanner in the works, so this could be a conversion.
