TapA321 0 Posted October 28, 2007 Report Share Posted October 28, 2007 Hi everyone, As a lot of you have probably noticed, I am more friendly with Short Haul flights rather than Long Haul. I had a lot of spare time on my hands yesterday and so I thought, "why not?" The flight was from Boston Logan Intl to Frankfurt/Main. The aircraft used was a Boeing 747F Atlas Cargo livery. Here are the shots, I hope you enjoy them! Parked up at Cargo ramp 16 at 08:45. Scaring the smaller Northwest Airlines as we taxi past, heading for Runway 22R. Awaiting takeoff clearance, a Boeing 767 American Airlines is on Upwind. A very late takeoff! Getting the gear up. Passing the Fedex ramps. Looking back over Boston. Turning towards the cruise, and climbing to FL370. Looking down at Boston. Still climbing at 19000ft. At long last, we're finally into the cruise! Didn't want to bore you with inflight shots, so we're now descending over Brussells and soon to switch to 'Tower'. On approach at Frankfurt, 4 miles from the runway. It's 5:30pm and it will soon be dark! Final adjustments. Just about to touch down, the cargo ramps in the distance! Down safely with the reversers armed. Boxes never complain, never have four carry on bags and never attemt to light the fuse protruding from their sneakers in mid-flight. :mrhappy: Good shots. John Link to post Share on other sites
