ddavid 149
More info here - http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?p=8737207 Looks like the cockpit rode over the wall before the catastrophic failure of the main fuselage/body. Must have broken like a snapping branch - it's amazing no one was seriously injured, thankfully. Cheers - Dai.

hello_basil 0
Apparentally, having only read this @ Airliners.net - it was a system malfunction on an engine test; perhaps the brakes didn't hold? I mean, its not the same but I've had the same situations on the Piper, you think the brakes are on but the aircraft will start to roll even at 2000RPM!
Kokoro 0
q.q The aircraft hadn't even been delievered? Wasn't there once a Thai DC10 or maybe MD11 that wasn't chocked for full power engine runs and went off on its own with only engineers in the cockpit who didnt notice there was anything wrong til they hit an A300? I'm not sure how true that sory is but then there have been some odd aircraft destruction stories. Like the KC135 that was blown apart during pressure testing by an engineer using a home-made pressure gauge, and that is a true story.
