TapA321 0 Posted November 22, 2007 Report Share Posted November 22, 2007 Hi Guys, Just a short flight from me today, from Boston Logan Intl (KBOS) to Sault ste Marie airport (CYAM). The normal ERJ-145 aircraft was out of service today, having damaged the landing gear on the icy runway, and so our aircraft for the day is a Boeing 737-700. Enjoy the shots. Parked up at Gate 25, on a nice crisp morning at Boston. Pushing back. Engines wearing off the frost as we get started. Passing the American Airlines stands. Holding short for a Colgan Air Saab 340B. Turning onto the runway as a 757 lands. Getting on our way! Gear up and switching to departure. Going back on ourself, and crossing over the airport. Nearly into our low cruise of 14000ft. Descending down towards CYAM, ATC chooses a very strange approach. Turning towards the finals. Final adjustments, light crosswinds, trying not to flare too early. Reversers doing all they can to stop us before the end of the very short runway! And finally, parked up safe and sound at the terminal. Hope you enjoyed those. One thing i just noticed though is you still have the old version of KBOS without the new runway. That shot of the airport from above is very convincing. The ice and snow, particularly the ice on the water in the lower left is very well done and looks quite real. And also, Mutley, thank you I shall keep an eye out! :mrhappy: I think it's shameful what happened to Reef's shot, and the worst thing is, the guy actually said it was his when he's been cought red-handed.
