UKJim 502
Hi guys, I have reinstalled FSX etc and found when I fly above 200 knots the scenery becomes blurred! I have tried changing the sliders in FSX to no result - anyone know of a cfg hack to fix this? Cheers Jim
Clem Wu 1
This is a good source explaining the basics of the 'Fiber Frame Fraction' tweak. Hope this helps, worth a shot!
mutley 4,498
Try upping your LOD_Radius .. [TERRAIN] LOD_RADIUS=6.500000 Is what I use but it does get reset back to 4.5 everytime you enter the display properties screen in FSX.

Might try upping the LOD again! I also managed to get rid of blurry before by putting scenery on different HD than FSX install so ill try that too!
britfrog 180
i get this from time to time so i place myself ahead of the plane looking back ward and all is ok. as for a permanent fix i use 4096 or higher graphic memory 6.6 to 8.5 lod radius however if you use a pmdg product you will have to go back to 4.5 i would also suggest going onto bojote's site and let his website modify your cfg it certainly made mine a lot better.
