dgor 0
Panos, Best to wait until Joe's post gets a bit more attention - only fair  And could you please amend the title of your post to include the destination and arrival airports as well as the leg numbers? Thanks :-)

A320cap 0
Good evening all, It’s been a difficult week for my computer since I installed Windows XP, due to some problems I had been experiencing with Vista. You’ll notice in the shots that a ‘’Sound Off’’ message is located in the upper right corner during the most aspects of the flight. That’s because I was listening to ''Iron Maiden’’ and '' The Doors’’ all the time! I’ve flown this leg with the marvelous Level-D 767-300ER at the ATWC colours. You can download my repaint here. Anyway, here are the shots, some of them are edited: Can you imagine how the weather is like? Everything is set, taxi clearance is taken. The runway seems rather short, very short. Will I be able to lift this 90000 kg plane? This guy must buy a new camera. We are hurtling down the runway …and liftoff! One of the most difficult and dangerous takeoffs I’ve ever performed! To tell you the truth, I was terrified! Suddenly something didn’t go as planned. PULL UP, PULL UP!! TERRAIN, TERRAIN. Out of the danger, Some spectacular shots of the almost unexplored, moon. Cruising normally at 38000feet At last, the sun rises! Approaching TOD I’m telling you, I don’t like those clouds at all ] Ohhh, what a rain! Entering hell Still descending without having the airport in sight For one more time, the Ground Proximity Warning System saved the baton and me! It sounded at the right time and I, hopefully, had time to pull out from the descend. Airport still not in sight! Hang on! I can see the city lights! I must be close enough to the runway. Confirming the undercarriage is down and locked, and everything else is set correctly Oh no! Fog at 12 o’clock! It’s time to begin turning. The weather has really changed since takeoff Hope the airport is located below that cliff …and yes! Only seconds from touchdown Reverse thrust engaged, confirming spoilers are up …and exiting the runway The passengers can now breath a sigh of relieve The pilots have left, looking forward to their next flight The baton has finally been delivered to the next pilot, Dai I really hope you enjoyed the above shots. Can’t wait to my next flight!!! Cheers, Panagiotis
mutley 4,498
Bravo Panos  Bravo I knew that take off was going to be difficult, the runway isn't really that long but you proved it could be done. (Just!) That really was the flight from hell and I can only congratulate you in getting the baton successfully to Maya-Maya under such extreme conditions. I thought your screenshots were first class and very entertaining, I really enjoyed this post. Cheers,

dgor 0
Fantastic Panos, nice repaint and brilliant shots and commentary  That looked like one scary approach - well done for pulling it off! Thanks for getting the baton safely to FCBB. Dave
allardjd 1,853
Panos, That, my friend, looked like an approach from Hell. I don't think those pilots are looking forward to their next flight. They're really still aboard, on the floor back in first class, huddled in a fetal position and whimpering. Very good post, nicely documented. Great job all around. John
ddavid 149
Hey, Panos - what a flight! I must admit I was humming the theme tune from The Dam Busters on your final approach. Thanks for getting the baton to Maya-Maya - as they say - Onwards and Upwards!! Cheers - Dai.

A320cap 0
Thank you all! John: I 'm afraid you're right. But I 'm certain that if Joe increased their monthly payment, they would be looking forward to their next flight with these conditions!lol KaptainPhee: This isn't part of the LDS767 but it is a payware little program.
