Unreal FSX performance...

Hi

Well here we go again with another [ Snake oil ] tip, trick`s & tweaks for FSX i thought and started reading this post :

Well .... as im not too far from this guy`s pc spec`s i went along with it and started tweaking for god know`s what time...!?

I was already using Bojote`s tweaking tool, and the UIAutomationCore.dll tweaks was one of the first to get in after new FSX install.

All i can say that this actually works wonders.... im baffled to what im seeing when flying now with everything maxed out to my hearts content in FSX.

I have tested it perfusely over a whole day now, and not once have i seen a drop under my DX10 Preview, locked 30fps with Vsync window mode applied.! (Due to old ATI 1GB card that are running this show)

Not a singel degree Celsius higher although i can see all cores hammering away on FSX when running, and much more even temp`s overall.

This tweak is of course used at your own risk, but other than that ...give it a shot! ... im impressed!

Windows 8 user`s please read the whole post, cause it seem`s to have an ill effect on that OS.

Thanks for the heads up Viking, I don't get over to AVSIM very often so haven't seen this before.

I would definitely advise people to do their own research and if not happy with editing their registry to leave it well alone!

Having said that, I may try it as I am re-building my PC in a couple of weeks time
