Night Scenery demo from Horizon (for VFR-X)

Horizon are almost there with their Inland Water and Night Lighting, see:

I've installed the Night Lighting demo - I grew up in the Smoke, so I wanted to see how things have changed, and, by golly, they have!! Here are a few, rather dark (!) screen-shots -

Taking off from City (this was a real dock when I were a lad...)

Approaching the demo area around London, Heathrow:

Heathrow ahead and the North Circular below (easy to recognise in the dark):

Don't fancy this farmer's chances with the traffic taking a short cut !!

And the Heathrow area at night - quite brilliant:

All in all, a very good indication of what Horizon have in store for those of us who have waited for these functions. But, it sounds as if it has been a lot of work to get it right.... and well worth the wait, I think.

Hello Dai,

It does look good and the water masks look great too.

However Mr Chaney told me at the FS show in Birmingham last month these would be finished for Christmas, I suppose having the demo is better than nothing but bodes well for the future.
