When I first flew with it installed, I was very unimpressed... Perhaps these screenshots will show what I mean... My Pearson Field (With maximum display settings) Pearson field screenshot (simmarket) There is a huge difference in these shots. Maybe that's why some of you guys are so good at edits and I don't even try them. If you're seeing a huge difference, your eye must be better trained than mine. TapA321 0 Posted December 28, 2007 Author Report Share Posted December 28, 2007 The difference is the fact that my shot blurs from a very short distance, whereas the other shot blurs from a much further distance and keeps its realistic outline for a much further distance, mine blurs it into harsh zig zagged edges very close to where I am flying and doesn't give much a realistic boost. reef 3 Posted December 29, 2007 Report Share Posted December 29, 2007 Hey Tap. As you probably know i fly from KPDX alot and must say i've come across no blurries. In fact this has to be one of the sharpest sceneries i own. I don't have registered FSUIPC and run on full settings within FS9. My grpahics are 7900GTX set to 8xAA and 16xAS at 1280x1024, although sometimes i use 8xAS but makes no difference to the sharpness of textures that close. To say your unimpressed with the scenery is a little harsh as to me its clear you have an issue that others do not. I will have a poke about and see if i can find anyone with a similar problem. steve :Edit: After a few searches i found hardly anyone with this kind of problem and the only one i could find, solved his problem with a driver upgrade. I am sure you will all be pleased to hear that I have fixed this fault, having followed some of the "OptimizedFS" on their webpage. I now only have one more problem with the product...and that is the bright lights that appear by the terminal. I am not sure if this is normal but this screenshot will explain the symptoms... ...Portland KPDX (Bright terminal lights) Are these lights normally this bright? Please post your views! It seems everything is running smoothly. As soon as I have more traffic installed I might aswell have a quick wizz around and take a few screenies!
