A320cap 0
Hello, Is there any utility which will allow me to write an e-mail and then send it automatically? For example: I want to send a Happy Birthday e-mail to sb but I will be away when his birthday "arrives". Can I write it and when the day arrives send it automatically? Is this possible with Gmail? mutley 4,498
Hi Panos, I don't think you can do this in Gmail, Hotmail etc The only way I know to send delayed mails is in Microsoft Outlook connected to an exchange server (We have that at work) the mail can be set for a pre-determined time in your outbox before it it sent. Sorry.
A320cap 0
It's ok,thx. Can u tell me how to do it in outlook?
mutley 4,498
Hi Panos, You have to be connected to an Microsoft Exchange Server otherwise it doesn't work. If you use a Microsoft Exchange Server, you can delay delivery of an individual message by selecting the "Do not deliver before" check box, and then click the delivery date and time you want it sent. Otherwise send me the mail and I will forward it for you  Will you not have access remotely to your email? Also ,when are you away ? (I am thinking ATWC here) Please mail me! A320cap 0
Hi Joe, Should I pay for this server?
mutley 4,498
Panos, Usually the MS Exchange server is usually owned/run by big companies. I cannot see it worth it only for a couple of mails, have a Google, you may find something? Cheers

allardjd 1,853
My reply forms look like that...is it a problem? :doh When I paste in a smiley I just see text, but once the reply is posted, all looks as it should. I thought that's why there was a preview button. I'm quite content this way - no need to make any changes on my account. John
