TapA321 0
Hi everyone, I have spent the last few days doing many a flight in my new PMDG 737-600/700, from the tip tops of The Alps in Switzerland, to the White Cliffs of Dover, but the most spectacular of the flights was a late summer evening's flight from Corvalis to Portland on the West Coast of the U.S.A. The aircraft used was the 737-7 Winglet model in the Continental Livery (many thanks reef). The flight took about 45 minutes after takeoff, and the sky was fabulous throughout the flight. If you haven't already, I strongly recommend trying an evening approach into Portland : It's Fantastic! :mrhappy: Anyway, on with the shots... 1. Powering out of Corvalis, getting the gear up. 2. Switching to departure and getting on course. 3. Cleared to 7000ft, I'd better retract the flaps. 4. Cruising at FL140, I hope the passengers are watching this fantastic sunset rather than reading the PC Pilot Winter Special. 5. Descending to 8000ft, only another 40miles to go. 6. Switching to tower as we prepare for a gear-down approach. 7. A fantastic view out of the right hand passenger side. 8. Cleared to land runway 25L. 9. A beautiful overview of the airport, as we approach the Threshold. 10. Seconds from touchdown! 11. Parked at terminal E with another Continental 737 I hope you enjoyed those, comments are as always, welcome! Regards, Tap
mutley 4,495
Hi Tap, I see you are enjoying Portland now! Can't fault these pictures they are excellent and the PMDG certainly helps. Well done, Cheers, Mut
reef 3
Very nice Tap, glad you have it all sorted now. Nothing worse than buying something that is not working right. Get yourself an Alaska Livery and the freeware Glacier Bay and do Portland to Juneau....one of my favourites. Just watch out for odd atc on arrival. If you get the offset approach its fantastic. steve
