  1. Powered yes, run from adapter giving 6v DC 4A output.
  2. Have been using Belkin 7 Port USB2 hubs (2) for many years without problem. Both must be close to ten years old now. Avoid using USB3 variants at this time, as their can be backward compatability issues with some hardware.
  3. The iFLY support is available through the Flight1 support forums. May be worth registering there to access the assistance you need. I am sure all the answers can be found there as they offer a very thorough support service.
  4. Don't you just love Gov Information films...whatever the flavour.
  5. " If it weren't this hobby you're spending it on, it would be another" Never was a truer word spoken.
  6. If you have the time and a lot of patience Spain ranks along with NL2000....but be aware, their are around 180 units to download and the "average" unit size is 750MB. Well you need something to pass those long winter nights with http://www.matradi.com/FPSS/FPSS-Guide.pdf
  7. New to me...looks very interesting. Have downloaded all the PDFs and will give it some attention.
  8. It is beautifully crafted work of that their is no doubt. However, from a personal perspective, I am struggling to get excited about the UK venture. Or indeed any of the released airports over the last 12 months. Like I said, just a personal view. Why would I want to sit in a cockpit and watch grass sway in the wind, leaves fall with the season and insects flutter from one location to another. All of which is hugely resource hungry. Bottom line:- all i really need is ATC, pothole free tarmac/grass and navaids. Fully enjoy large area land coverage...bigger the better. Stopped installing high
  9. I'm with you there Jim...SimMarket very good...FSX Booster a bag of the proverbial.. Closely followed by several "utilities" from the Abacus stable...GPS & Terrain related. Got a draw full of those T-Shirts...Grrr, Grrr. Now you've set me off, it's just turned 0600Hrs and I am depressed already.
  10. A handy little utility for dealing with problem Files/Folders :- http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Miscellaneous/Unlocker.shtml
  11. "Customer Service" is somewhat difficult for the average simmer; but we need to remember that it is designed for Pro/Business use. That being so, the end users are not as a rule fiddling and breaking their installation, once in situ. Developers and suchlike are more than capable of sorting themselves out when something goes pearshaped. So the bottom line really is that LM really have no need to provide intensive support as you would expect to get from the likes of PMDG, Aerosoft to name but a couple. Started out with a subscription to 1.1 through 1.3. Have decided to leave it alone for the ti
  12. ....now there's a novelty. Usually the Hangar doing the reviews. Just received the June/July edition of the "new" Computer Pilot magazine. Came out of the blue, had written my subscription off after the sell off. A very nice Portrait picture of you Joe. Will keep my fingers crossed and see if the remaining nine issues of my subscription find there way to my letterbox.
  13. Taking advantage of the Sale to repurchase all my old FS9 Airports and Photo Scenery, which I threw out, some years ago when moving house...YEA, I KNOW....seemed like a good idea at the time. Ah well, C'est La Vie.
  14. Carenado Stationair 206 Amphibian. And it's old enough to feel/sound great with the addition of Accu-Feel.
  15. Just happened across this site, new to me anyway. Oh, and it is free, though you can pay for a more global version. www.skydemonlight.com
  16. She flew at R.I.A.T on Saturday for about 15 mins, before landing and going on static display. A wet start and finish but in between times all was well...some sunshine even. Certainly worth the 5 hour round trip. Arrived at 0730Hrs, departed 1400Hrs. Just can't be doing with mass exodus from these large events. Much prefer to leave in comfort and have the roads to myself.
  17. Thought the IOM was covered with Vol3 v2 Horizon discs...seems to be on my setup. Never bothered with the v3 upgrade. Maybe it wasn't included with that.
  18. YES....just received an email. Still activating newly purchased copies. Thanks for the pointer over lights Charlie. Only using the iFly 737 so will keep my fingers crossed...not a major problem for my usage though.
  19. Email sent.....now lets wait and see.
  20. ...for FS9, available at simMarket. I see there is a message on the purchase page..:- IMPORTANT !!! Once the transaction is completed, we need your User registration key. 1. Open the Active Camera 2004 menu (FS2004) - Options – ActiveCamera 2004. 2. Click on “Register”. 3. Your computer will generate the unique number which is your User registration key (32 digits). 4. Send the User registration key to activation@anticyclone.be. Please keep the same e-mail address you used for the transaction. To avoid any error, copy this long number to the clipboard (press CTRL+C) and paste it in your
  21. After 14 years of Bushflying with an assortment of amphibian aircraft, I have changed tac. In the words of Monty Python....and now for something completely different. Bought and installed the iFly 737NG into a default copy of FS9...no Scenery, no Micro Stutters, so no distractions. AAAAaaagghh, just got a look at the cockpit and what I can only call "things" at this moment in time. Looks like my time will be fully occupied over the coming months. Anyway, to try and ease the task ahead I have taken out a subscription to the Angle of Attack 737NGX training course, based on the PMDG model. Ea
