  1. Hi Guys, I love these, will download the lot when I get back on my other pc in a week or two, I could never get my UK scenery to look this good, so I think I need to play with my settings a little more.... Oh and if you are running windows 7, it is easy to make a nice theme of these, I have my SlimAir Theme :-) Nice shots m8
  2. Hi Guys, Just to let everyone know I am back online at last so will be trying to catch up on the forums. I still won't be playing AirHauler or Anything for another week or so (hopefully) but hope to be back fully just after that due to personal circumstances. Anyway did anyone miss me and what have I missed?
  3. Hi Guys, Sorry I will be completely closed now for a little while as I sort things out, have uploaded the latest updates today from my Brothers connection and will hopefully have a new ISP very soon and be back in business. I have added some screenshots and updated all the images to all my bases too... Hope you enjoy... Hope you are well and I will be back as soon as I can hopefully.
  4. Hi Guys, I am now offline for a few weeks as I have been disconnected from Sky. I am sorting a new connection and should be back in the next few weeks. Please bare with me... Many Thanks
  5. Hi All, After the launch of the Used Aircraft Preservation Trust, for which I have added another aircraft today, SlimAir Logistics today exchanged it 747-400 which it had on lease for a 747-200F which it has purchased outright in the most expensive purchase ever for the company (see blog for details). The company has also added some marketing material which people can download as a PDF - I would really love to hear peoples feedback on this so that I can tell if it is worth doing similar items again? Anyway take a wander to: http://web.me.com/slimnasty/SlimAir_Logistics/Welcome.html
  6. Hi Mutley, I can't take all the credit as someone else came up with the idea, but he was kind enough to let me do something similar when I chatted to him on AH Chat System. You can see his post here http://forum.justflight.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=13653
  7. Hi All, Just done another update for the site, fantastic new blog with another launch, not a first in AH as Lazerbolt (a fellow Air Hauler) came up with the concept which is fantastic, but he kindly agreed I could do something similar, to catch up have a look at the blog to find out what UAPT is: http://web.me.com/slimnasty/SlimAir_Logistics/Welcome.html
  8. Just to add SlimAir Logistics which is my Air Freight Company within AH has delivered 63,075,642 IBS of AirHauler CD's if that helps work out how many were sold :-)
  9. Hi John, Very good article, there is a couple of things I would love to add if I may which will hopefully add more value... I have to say well done to Duncan because this is without a doubt a fantastic product. There are other expenses he has which are also unseen by the end user, like the PC hardware and software he has used, not to mention the time he spent learning to code software and any packages he may have used in conjuntion with this. I am also sure that this must have taken a massive amount of time to produce so you can't ignore the electicity bill that comes in each month. (unless
  10. Hi Guys, I thought I would just let you know I have updated the website: http://web.me.com/slimnasty/SlimAir_Logistics/Welcome.html It also gives me great disappointment to notify people that I will soon be giving up the internet (10/05/10, if Sky doesn't cut me off b4) Basically I have had a bad year, from redundancy a year ago, to being unemployed for 6 months and more recently having my new jobs wages drop drastically to the point where I am on half my previous income which has forced ill health. I am therefore reluctantly having to re-align my life considerably and one of the things th
  11. It the only plane I could find with a camera and it took me over a month to find one too... I have an Orion which I love too...
  12. Only three votes and one of them was me :-) come on guys you can do better than this...
  13. Hi Guys, Just thought I would post that I have done another update this morning, you will notice more pilots and aircraft, check the site out at: http://web.me.com/slimnasty/SlimAir_Logistics/Welcome.html Just to give you an idea, tonight after sitting and programming my AI to work to the 26th they will net me
  14. Hi m8. Thanks I try and keep things interesting for me and everyone that follows the company. Seems the initial spout of company websites has dropped off and I can only see one or two of us that constantly update their own sites. I think I am insane the amount I do, almost everyday. I still have some more ideas left, but would be nice to see if anyone else can think of anything differenent and perhaps post it or message me privately. I want to keep things pretty real though, hence commercial planes etc... Look forward to carrying on.... Keep Voting :-)
  15. If you have been following my website you would have seen that my AH Company SlimAir Logistics created a new department today called SlimAir Photography using a NAMC YS-11T-A and I wanted to see what people though of it Check out this aircraft at: http://web.me.com/slimnasty/SlimAir_Logistics/Aircraft/Entries/2009/9/2_YK-11A.html Thanks for voting...
  16. Hi Guys, Another update today, added new counter (Thanks Clifford), updated usual SlimAir stats, Pilots, added a New Aircraft and blog. http://web.me.com/slimnasty/SlimAir_Logistics/Welcome.html Do you guys like the NEW aircraft section, I am hoping you all do, but no one seems to reply to this post very much these days, why is that?
  17. Hi Guys, Okay have spent the last few hours doing part of an overhaul so that I could add a new section "Aircraft" this has been added with links from the pilots page to each aircraft in the fleet with useful information about each aircraft. Also you will notice from this and the blog that my entire fleet is in the SlimAir Logistics livery as have spent hours the last few days sorting them all out. Now that they are up to date I hope to keep them this way. If you want me to expand on the information provided which I can by all means, just leave a post here... http://web.me.com/slimnasty/Sl
  18. Hi Guys, Okay has been a busy 48 hours since last update, re-painted the new CRJ700's, sold a learjet, bought a cessna and hired another pilot. Oh and if you been watching BBC News or Sky News I have included the latest in my blog, you have to have a read, I guarantee you will find it interesting... http://web.me.com/slimnasty/SlimAir_Logistics/Welcome.html
  19. Hi Guys, Okay another substantial update today with the usual to SlimAir, Pilot Amendments and a blog where we have restructured our fleet of aircraft! You will also notice under the Technical page I have added 737 Pilot in Command as I do love my 737's. This was a little mistake as I didn't realise it was the older aircraft and doesn't incude the NG aircraft. Having said that my first impressions are pretty good and the detail and complexity seem just right. On top of that I can get this one in the air, unlike the F-Lite 747 series I own. You will also notice a massive leap in images on th
  20. Tell me about it, not quite sure how it happened, okay I knew it was a little bit rough and was tempted to do a go around, but wanted to nip out so thought sod it ... Ah well just as well I keep cash reserves... Oh yes and the new truck is a dream. Finally up to the last level in the game, so now have to deliver specific cargos to specific destinations oh and not break any rules
  21. Hi Guys, Just done a quick update, another interesting and unexpected addition to the blog you will need to read... http://web.me.com/slimnasty/SlimAir_Logistics/Welcome.html Tomorrow I am hoping to change the fleet a little bit so keep your eyes peeled...
  22. Hi Mutley, Unfortunately I didn't log the time, didn't even think of it, but it would have been a little bit before this, but then I would also imagine I would need to know where I was too, hang on though, won't I have a record of the flight somewhere in Air Hauler? I posted this up on Just Flight forum also and one guy has come back and said he had the same thing, but 2 shooting stars, maybe my eyes deceived me but it goes to show it must happen... Maybe it is part of the REAL TIME weather downloads
  23. Hi Guys, Just done some more updates... PAGES UPDATED 10/04/10: SlimAir + Pilots + SlimRoad + Blog Check out the site at: http://web.me.com/slimnasty/SlimAir_Logistics/Welcome.html I would love to hear what everybody is thinking of late as not many of you are replying to these threads these day's and it gives me encouragement to carry on hearing what you guys think? I have started putting together a more detailed six month report to build on the overview from the beginning of the month and this should be available soon as a PDF and include a lot more detail about the company. I am also c
  24. Oh you are FUNNY GUY.... Funnier still is that I DID as I DO wear Specsavers glasses lol...
  25. Hi Guys, Thought I would share this one with you all and see if anyone else has experienced this at all. Picture this the flight was from Rome to CDG Paris, at the start it was a nice red sky and everything was going smoothly. About half way I was half watching the screen while chatting to a fellow Air Hauler when No Word of a Lie THREE SHOOTING STARS shot accross in front of my 747-400 into the distance. Now I have been flying over a year now and have NEVER seen that before, has anyone else? Now I would have to ask the question is this FSX or REX or something else I am running? I would
