Money does funny things to people, especially when you're not used to having a lot and then suddenly find a few grand in your account. Whilst I was never blown away by FSXGenius's YT videos (always seemed to repeat stuff already in the public domain, like basic fsx.cfg tweaks), I agree he certainly didn't come across as a sociopathic monster, as some people would now have you believe. But he took advance payments on a number of PC builds and used the money to invest in his fledgling business, rather than on supplying the goods that had been ordered. I believe he had planned to stil

What a beast of a plane! ... great leg..

Picked up this Flight 1 C162 this week - it's not bad! ..... good avionics, but still with good frames, and quite convincing flight dynamics. Like some other F1 addons, it has has the "bug splat" simulation, which is a little OTT but good fun

My pleasure. It was a great flight - it's nice have some paramaters and choices made for you sometimes, rather than just flying from A to B as I tend to. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was also surprising how good (mostly!) Africa is looking now with FTX Global and Vector. Although I've owned both for months, I'd not ventured down to Africa until flying this flight leg. Cheers.

LEG 56: Pemba (Tanzania) HTPE >> Wilson Nairobi (Kenya) HKNW PIC: Dean Newton Date/Time: Off blocks at 10:20z, 13th June 2014 Good day, my name is Captain Dean Newton, and I am a pilot with EAAL (East African Air Logistics) a new start up company shipping freight around Kenya and Tanzania, in a fleet of DC-6s. Most of the aircraft have come from Alaska and Northern Canada but our ship today has just been secured by the company, from a Cayman Islands operator that has gone in to administration. Our ship has not been re-liveried yet, but is being put straight in t

Absolutely love it! Have put 10 hours on it already. In my opinion it is quite a step up from the C172, especially the VC which is a lot nicer IMHO. Flies a lot nicer too! .......and those sounds. Hard to envisage flying any other GA for a good while. One thing that can definitely catch you out, is forgetting to switch fuel tanks (L>R) during flight, which results in a lop-sided plane that trimming will not fix!

I flew a short leg (0:23), in the QualityWings RJ85 last night, for EZNIS Airways (domestic airline in Mongolia) from Ulan Baatar, up to Erdenet. The weather was characterized by quite low visibility throughout - even at cruise at FL160, we were "in the fluff" for some of the journey, but with plenty of broken patches, so we could see the barren ground below. Addons: QualityWings 146 Collection, FTX Global BASE, FTX Global VECTOR, FS Global 2010, OpusFSX Weather, REX4 Direct Textures

Hi Brett, Forgive my ignorance, but is 'signing is as a ATWC Pilot' the same process that Kerian descibed here :- ...or is there something else I need to do first, to get registered as a prospective pilot? Thanks in advance

Many thanks for the help, Kieran! I'll be sure to keep my eye open for any future legs that are announced
