@Dean33 @brett cheers for the input guys, I am really struggling to install this for use with p3d4, read the manual and watched YT vids, downloaded for the free trial but can't get past first base.......I have now looked more into pfpx and think I will start using more of the features with that which I have previously used, was looking at TOPCAT but that seems to be a dead program with no work since 2016......appreciate your time though, thanks....

Looking to get something... I like what I have seen regarding the efb but I am wondering if it works with most common aircraft.. Mainly Majestic dash and ifly 737....Not a dev I have used before so really just looking to see if any of you are using it, I have watched a few videos of people using it and it seems a handy tool, but is is really useful or just a gimmick? does it help or hinder? Any experience of above appreciated... Wayne

thanks guys, I actually really enjoyed the flight, just a simple plane on a positioning flight, stated it with snow, then at 6000ft all was clear above the clouds, then broken until about 15nm out, down through the murk, was watching a weather front building up on AS16 moving map, was very immersive.....

thanks for the comments guys, I will be keeping an eye on this, we expect dynamic weather on 1st feb, this is going to be changing weather but not inconjuction with the real world, rumours of a proper weather engine within 6 months.....there is Saitek support but I am struggling to get my stuff to work......this currently is something I dip in and out of just to see the developement but at least it is being improved, I guess more choice could mean a healthier market and the sim genre does need new blood as we are not getting any younger......

@Captain Coffee Matt try looking here - <your drive>\steamapps\common\FSW\_CommonRedist\vcredist should have 2013 & 2015......try reinstall of those....has solved it for some....

A few shots from FSW, all default stuff, still more work needed but progressing, only about 1 year on though so early days I suppose.... to me the sim looks best at dawn or dusk, other daylight hours it is to bright, also will be better once real world weather engine is introduced.....

that feeling you get when you trust your instruments, and it just works as should....

it has improved quite a bit from when first realeased, still some way to go though......great work so far...

Seems like mostly me then, I suppose sim addiction is better for me than drugs.........I actually don't really spend a lot of time on any sim and most flights are down to about 2 hours including set up time, get the odd sunday for a longer flight.......I seem to go in phases where I use XP for weeks, P3D for weeks and then maybe something else for a short while then back to flight, I find it helps me just relax and unwind........I did try DCS and even though it looked good I couldn't be bothered with all the combat fuss......Also on thinking back my PS4 was actually only used about 6 times in
