Hello! This is Carlos from JUST 4 ARTIST, a newcomer Youtube Channel about realistic flight simulation over real life procedures. At this moment there are only posted 2 videos regarding flight simulation, but I'm just on the beginning. I'm trying to create quick cinematic video reviews. I have not earnings or commercial purposes, I only want to share my videos to the world, and receive your feedback and comments (positive or negative). ► New video: https://youtu.be/1H3U_9k2HAs ◄ Subscribers for my Youtube Channel, Facebook or Twitter are very welcome!

needing a little help here please, if a monitor has a res of 2560-1440 and fsx / p3d has a res of 1920- 1080 how is the display effected? does it get stretched? is it more detailed, more pixels? also re xp11 I can't seem to see anything about resolution for that, anyone have any ideas? still haven't pulled the trigger on a new monitor.........more money available now though....

Evening guys, Decided to do another flight today to test the PMDG 777 along with UK2000s version of EGLL, and Fly Tampa OMDB. I had to change my settings ever so slightly to get acceptable fps around LHR which was a shame, but OMDB was excellent - I only wished I'd clicked transparent windows now! Oh well, onto the shots, just a few of them today as the majority of the flight was during night hours! Apologies again, this time I saved them in BMP but still the quality decreases, and for some reason it looks like it's taken my Anti-Aliasing out when I've hit the screenshot button! Th

Hi guys, After still struggling to get used to XP11, and as well as there not being a traffic program I deem acceptable, it was time to upgrade to P3Dv4. After spending the last 3 days tweaking and working out my best configs for graphic/performance combo, I was finally able to undertake my first flight. Unfortunately, I didn't realise the quality loss by saving my files as PNG on standard P3D screenshot, but I have managed to salvage a few. Back to JPEG from now on! Hope you enjoy.. With some Christmas money I am thinking of getting P3D v4.1. I would install ot on a partition called "E". My current FSX is installed on a pertition called "D", and I have another disk for the OS etc called "C". Standard stuff. Currently I have an install of FTX Central on the "C" drive which manages all my FSX Orbx scenary, so I guess that points to the D Drive FSX install. Is it possible to have a second FTX Central install to manage ORBX installed scenary in P3D? My plan is to use FSX for all the work-day FS use and to build P3D for jus

Hi all! We've just released update 1.2 for TerraFlora, bringing new features and tweaks to the product. We'd like to thank everyone for their feedback as this update couldn't have been done without it! You can find the full details on updating and changelog here: https://www.turbulentdesigns.co.uk/terraflora-update-1-2-0/ New Features: – Added multiple variants for Fall colouring. – Most broadleaf species now have at least two colour variants to reduce the ‘solid carpet’ effect. This means that were a single species is annotated, you will now see

So here goes with my first trip in my new 737 in P3Dv4, spent a whole week writing a condensed tutorial as 77 pages plus a supplement is just to much to keep going through....all went except I put the wrong waypoint in, set up to fly route and then once in the air noticed my first waypoint was over 4000nm away, oops, but at least I now know how to delete a waypoint and fly direct to the next, also some airways weren't recognised but this is because I can't update v4 I guess....Flight was my usual test route from Bristol to Manchester, real time and real weather using AS16, default textures tho

So the latest leg was a short 32nm hop from Whiteman into Fullerton Mun with some toys, as you can see it was allegedly a very misty day....initally had to do a quick climb out of Whiteman then a u-turn and head down to 3000ft toward KLAX then hook a left into Fullerton, still got the counter on as this is a new ORBX area and checking the area to see if my settings are ok..... a hazy look out of the window... a busy scene below but still healthy fps... using AS16, guessing this was a good dipiction of the haze.... coming into KFUL.......

Prepar3D v4.0 Hotfix 1 Available from your downloads page, more here: http://www.prepar3d.com/news/2017/06/114375/ Fixes and Improvements Fixed an issue in VR views that prevented dynamic lighting in the right eye Fixed memory leak related to external views and vehicle textures Fixed performance impact when entering and then exiting VR Fixed text label size mismatches in VR Fixed the F-16 speedbrakes Corrected an issue where a scenario saved from the startup screen would not be loaded after a reset

OK guys, I've given P3D a few goes but what has driven me NUTS is that instead of restarting the current scenario, P3D in its infinite wisdom reloads the default scenario. Every. Damn. Time. So much so that I've rage quite each time lol! I even got a couple birds I would like to fly but just cannot get past this road block. Yes I could turn off the crashes and such but I want to fly as "real" as possible.

Just a short hop into EGDC, A2A's 182 hauling a small load of Beef, burgers I think, though the weather was not right for a BBQ, very windy coming in on finals, positive landing and something is broken....off to the bar for a few Old Speckled Hens and see what the guy with the wrench can do in the morning..... heading out, some rough weather forcast.... huge clouds...... nice to be out of the clouds, can actually see something now ATC as brought us down a bit.... soon be turning left to line up with the runway.... runway just ahead, over the water..

So lots of downloading, installing and setting up......all seems ok as we now add the aircraft...having an issue with QW757, black screens, however no support for P3D and I have downloaded a w7 font file that supposedly sorts it, sadly I don't know what to do with it.... Anyhow Shrike around the Gloucestershire area testing the addons, REX/ASN/ORBX.... forgot all about this aircraft.... sorry about the FPS counter but wanted to see how it was doing...

So we now have P3D running I think quite nicely, started a new company in AH2, past my TR and got the first job, just a quick run across to Farnborough with some tools...been having an internet issue (changing provider in a couple of weeks) so had to manually set some weather as I couldn't download real weather....really enjoyed this short one it felt good to be flying instead of installing, and there's a lesson to us all try to fly more and not tweak so much......uneventful trip but on both TR and this the ILS seemed to be taking me slightly to the right of the runway, hand flew in though so

Hi guys, As those of you who saw my last screenshot post on here might have noticed, I've been itching to get my sim to look as realistic as possible. It's not 100% there yet but it's definitely on the right lines. I've literally sat up all night watching youtube videos and tweaking .cfg files and downloading programs.. Here are the results Aberdeen departure at dawn FL280 And my favourite one... Thanks for looking - any more tips on how you all get your sims so crisp please do let me know!

OHi guys - As previously mentioned in other posts - I'm back on flight sim forums. Previously I was ChrisE at JustFlight if any of you came from there a few years back and have the memory of an elephant! Anyway - I thought I'd reintroduce myself with a few screenshots from my ongoing flight at the moment LGW-INN. Currently using P3Dv3 and my computer seems to run P3D very nicely indeed so if there are any tips or addon suggestions to get it looking top notch please let me know in the comments below. Thanks! After departing Gatwick 08R.. just past Maidstone

Hi guys, I stupidly bought a few addons last month for my P3Dv3 without checking that they actually work within v3. I've got scenery issues with Skiathos, Barcelona and Amsterdam sceneries - for which I'll post for help in the relevant forums. This post is about the Quality Wings 757. When purchased it said it would work on P3D but didn't specify which version. After installing it into P3Dv3 I can't get any of the FMC functions at all. I'm just left at a blank ident page. Obviously with this being the case (and bearing in mind this isn't the 60s so VOR/NDB tracking isn't ideal) I h

I'm going to start this thread while I'm waiting for P3D to Uninstall - takes forever. I've already restored my scenery/texture files using the Rex procedure and then backed everything up in P3D. The reason for all this activity is that Rex Essentials didn't work in my P3D sim. I started this with the intention of going to the PMDG 777 and got keen on seeing some better upper air textures. After an initial glitch where Rex would not recognize my account for P3D, which was solved by the boys at Rex, I found that a lot of the advertised functionality within Rex just didn't work. Principally, the

I'm new to the forum and flight sim. I do have about 1000 hours flying multi-pistons. I'm now thinking about flying a turbine Duke for which there is an excellent RealAir sim. At this point, I'm not interested in gaming, but actually using the sim to learn to fly. Is there a preference for FSX or P3D? Is either company positioning itself to work with Oculus in the VR realm? Any help and ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

MegaSceneryEarth announce Prepar3D V3 compatibility
