About Me
Up until 2000 I was a Harrier Aircraft Electrician at Dunsfold Aerodrome when BAE systems made us all redundant. Since then I have enjoyed early retirement .
Back then I bought my first computer which was a Dell Dimension 4100, then running on Windows ME which people were telling me was a load of crap and full of bugs. It must have been about a year when I eventually got the massage and dumped it for XP Pro and that's when really took off.
It was then when I installed Microsoft combat flight simulator WWII Europe series, which I controlled with a Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 Joystick which I still have today despite the fact Microsoft saying it is now obsolete, does not have a driver and will not work on Windows 10. I ran XP Pro right up to the end of its support life and then that one went followed by 7 Pro, another supper operating system where everything works and I have been on that right up until back last year when as you all know we all got the option of the free download of 10 which is now my current operating system.
Recently I have just finished building my own supper computer and I have currently installed FSX with Tornado GR1 as my aircraft and last Wednesday my wife and I made a trip to Duxford to see the aircraft in the hanger.
