Christopher Low 63
I saw Concorde for the first time at Heathrow back in 1977. This was only a year after the aircraft had entered service. A year later I got a real close up view when it made a touch and go at the Farnborough AirShow. I was 11 years old at the time, and standing right next to the fence. The sound as it powered up the engines to get airborne again was incredible!
Ruzzo 59
It's been 10 years today since Concorde flew her last commercial flight. You have done it again Rosario But tell me, is that St Elmo's fire playing on each wing? Rosario? James, It's just vapour coming off the wing.

Put it down to incontinence, loss of memory (I think) constipation, lack of money, lack of sleep, awaiting cold weather payment, meeting Brett in Chile and all sort's of things. Please accept my sorrowful excuse Andrew Keith Malcolm Paul
rob16584 42
Still the greatest. I love it when she came into Leeds, my gran lived about 20 seconds flight time from touchdown, the noise as Concorde flew over the house was incredible.
