Used to love those things, only ever flew on one and that was from Dubai to Paris. An Air France aircraft flown by a pilot who must have just seen Top Gun judging by the way he was flying the thing! The 'Overspeed' lady spoke and I broke up in mid air. Q2. Nope. Neither was Boeing's Chief Test Pilot Alvin 'Tex' Johnson when he pulled a barrel roll in one. He got his knuckles rapped though. dodgy-alan 1,587 Posted November 25, 2013 Report Share Posted November 25, 2013 LOL, It certainly felt like it, We left Dubai, 15 mins latar we were in Bahrien, another 10 mins and he landed in Qatar, another hop over to Kuwait City then finally setting off for Paris. His take offs were like he had full RATOG and landings were just as hairy. There were a lot of airsick passengers on that flight. A couple of us (we were a BP Tanker Crew flying home) sent a message up front asking if the skipper had not got his leg over last night and was taking it out on the passengers! Thankfully the rest of the flight was peacefull and the approach into Paris was relatively calm. It was certainly a memorable trip. Link to post Share on other sites
