I have to ask Geoff, what is the connection between Knickerbocker Glory and Pants?

Well Brett my ol' pal, Knickerbockers are/were 'pants' as you call them over there and as for Glory ... well you know me and my love of food. :P

Got ya, pants=knickers or knickerbockers  knickerbocker glory= Sundae=yummy :D

 

Knickerbocker over here is also an old nickname for original Dutch settlers in New York so I will go with the below and then go get me some ice cream. ^_^

Elephant Ears - deep fried pastry usually sold out of "roach coaches" at county fairs, carnivals, etc. They ARE as big as they are made out to be. You can eat one, usually with cinnamon and sugar on it, and listen to your arteries snap shut.
