brett 2,316
Un-Anonymous 'You Say' comment......"I hate blind legs." Especially with T&G's and full stops.
mutley 4,498
I'm going to post that Brett! Personally, I like the odd blind leg, it takes away any pressure for trying to meet the official target, if I know the time I can easily speed up or slow down to suit. With the blind leg I try to maintain the ideal average speed. If I am within 10% then I am happy. Cheers...Joe
Quickmarch 488
Oh! That kind of "Blind". Here I was thinking I'd have to fly it with my eyes shut.
brett 2,316
ooops....should be more careful what I write. I agree it does add to the challenge and makes for a great rally. I have flown these before and will do it again because it is good flight and navigational practice and being part of a whole group pilots all flying toward a common goal is fun and exciting. I hope more members join up, the flights can be flown at any time for those that can't fly them according to posted dates, as long as the PIREP's are in on time. See y'all there.
