patrico 8
I am currently using a NVIDIA 640 but lately I have been getting an intermittent black line about 6" wide on my second screen. With all my ad-on's I was thinking of getting a new nvidia780 gti do I need it?
mutley 4,497
Hi Patrick, It could be just the card overheating, check to see if the case air filter(s) are clean?
Gunner 69
If its only on a second screen , you might want to check the cable and connection.

needles 1,013
Hi Patrick, It might also be worth swapping the monitor cables over to see if you get the problem on the first monitor. If you still get it on the second monitor, it could be that, that monitor is on it's way out. Don't be alarmed at this line of thought, it could be as simple as Joe and Eddie suggested above. Cheers and good luck Patrick. Brian
Christopher Low 63
If you are thinking about upgrading from a GT640 (which is not exactly a great card), I don't think that you need to jump to a 780Ti. That would be like switching from a Cessna 182 to the Millennium Falcon! Are you only running FSX on your PC, or do you also play other games?
