A few recent pics2

Recommended Posts

I added Orbx Global Base to my scenery addons. I was feeling like exploring "other" parts of the world but default textures kept turning me back towards home.

A few pics from here and there.

A 3 Dollar Carenado 172 ski plane exploring central Alaska:

Trusty Malibu  Turbo having a look at an upgraded Catalina Island (Don't have the payware version of this airport...yet...this is just Global Base.)

I picked up Global Base after purchasing PNG's Jacksons airport (and then reading in the installation instructions that it required Global Base...which I was considering getting anyhow, and it was on sale...you see how the spending rationalization gets out of hand during Xmas sales...sigh)  ...here is IRIS Battlefield hauler testing it out.

I touched down just slightly past that roadway behind the plane...serious short field performance...and my first landing too....hehe. Gorgeous airfield too ofc.

Getting to know and love my new Milviz T38 Talon...looking like 175 to 180 kts is about as slow as I can get on approach without the stick shaker getting upset.

But with climb performance like this...i'll just have to get used to the high speed landings.

Sweet flying plane.

Cheers.

I agree completely. I have orb X region add ons for USA... But they don't extend down to Southern California so I haven't enjoyed flying down there. This now opens the world up. I randomly popped into various areas of the world Germany Mexico Hawaii and so far everything looks better and I'm very happy especially at 30 percent off.

I love that it was ONLY 3 bucks....before discounts :)

I bought it and the float version at the same time for 3 dollars ea, and turned in Reward Points from a previous order to cut the total bill in half...so, actually they came out to $1.50 ea...with the exception of some fine freewares I have found, these were the best deal ever!
