First edit attempt......

Recommended Posts

Now then, even us 'oldies' have got to learn - so here's a first attempt at real editing:

Have you any suggestions, please? (Constructive ones! - Ed) Thanks......

Cheers - Dai. :mrhappy:

p.s. Sorry about the VA advert (again) Joe!

Great for a first attempt i have to say!

3 things though...

1] The engine thrust should not affect the plane itself, just the background.

2] Possibly blur the background, to add more focus onto the plane itself.

3] Crop the grass close to the camera out, or most of it, so it loses the flat look. Maybe even add some grass from a photo...

Although for a first attempt, as i said above its superb...

Much better than mine!

Hello Dai

:mrhappy: respect that you are even trying this, a great first edit.

May as Chris says you could have edited in some grass from a picture of airliners.net or the like.

Cheers

To be honest Dai, i think you picked a hard shot for your first edit. While interesting in the rotate, being such a close shot cuts out most of your surroundings. You are also on the dark side of the aircaft leaving a very flat in the shade look which again is hard to edit. Like it has been said, heat usually distorts things viewed further from the heat although afterburners sometimes can distort the aircraft also. Airliners.net is a great source of what an aircraft should look like and simply work as much as you can into a shot. Its great to see you give editing a try and hope to see more. Nice work Dai and if you or anyone ever needs any advice i'd be more than happy to help if i can, just drop me a PM.
