J G 927
I have recently added Steve's DX 10 fixer to my setup. All went well, in fact it provided a significant improvement on performance, for while. Then I thought I would go for a spin in my Tucano. I noticed that on side of the cockpit had a missing texture I tried everything I could to rectify this including a full re install. No joy so I binned the aircraft. Then I installed the P30 lightning. No missing textures so that was good. Then I rolled my mouse pointer over the VC. The VC broke up into what can best be describer as a rapidly moving shattered glass effect. Very strange. I switched out the DX10 fix. and than all was good. Several of my older sims had similar issues, particularly with the missing textures under DX10, switching to DX9 made the problem go away in every case. Has anyone had the same issue with DX10? - If so, is there another way to fix it other than running under DX9?
britfrog 180
John I have been using dx10 fixer ever since it was first launched , through all its iterations to today and never had this problem at all. I have read somewhere that transparent cockpits are normally cured by re installing the a/c with the problem, sorry I could not be more help.
