hurricanemk1c 195
Now, a lot of people were suprised about my aircraft choice, not least Andrew who was a tad concerned about performance! Anyway, to kick the ball rolling here, below are a few shots from the test flight: Starting off Lift off Luckily I have a whole crew assisting me, although they didn't want to be photographed in the company of a crazy pilot! mutley 4,497
O boy, how did I let this aircraft though! The rules state aircraft with one or two engines only. Chuck, I am happy for you to carry on as this was my mistake in not picking it up when you registered I do love the aircraft though, and your shots. Cheers, Joe

cporses 50
I was going to use the Lancastrian in historic QANTAS livery but I decided it might be too big for some of the strips. I looked at the rules and aircraft eligibility pages and saw nothing stating single or twin only. I checked because this was the rule in previous events. Cheers Bob
hurricanemk1c 195
Eligible Aircraft3. Participants may fly any piston or turbo-prop single or twin engined aircraft of their choice. Turbojet, turbofan and other such engined aircraft are not eligible for entry in the event. I just didn't read the rules!
